So now as you exhale concentrate intensely on the red flame in the muladhara chakra at the bottom of your spine and as you inhale, just start thinking of the way that the flame rises in your spinal chord and assumes different colors. And what I suggest is that as your inhale, towards the end of your inhale certainly, you turn your eyeballs upwards.
(pause)
Now to start, you do not need to visualize clearly all the colors, it’s just that it’s good enough if you can awaken the muladhara chakra. This is what the firefly is doing, and some deep sea fish and some bats, burning the body in order to produce light. So while we are concentrating on the flame rising in the spinal chord, we still must be aware of the radiance of that flame as our aura.
Now we already became aware of the difference between the very fine attunement of the higher chakras and the grosser one of the lower chakras. And consequently we must be very careful not to damage the very fine sensitive higher chakras, I mean higher in the body, by invading them with a kind of light that you find at the bottom of the spine and therefore, that’s the reason why the light needs to be transmitted as one moves upwards.
